Newton Club is a pedagogical community initiative by Meeta Sengupta, Shalini Dagar and Parul Gupta who, apart from being deeply committed to quality in children’s education, bring to the venture their own special skills and experience.

Meeta Sengupta

Meeta Sengupta is an educator and advisor specializing in skill development, coaching and mentoring. An alumnus of the prestigious IIM (Ahmedabad), Meeta advises a number of educational endeavours and institutions. Currently, Meeta is the Director of the Centre for Education Strategy, a Fellow for Geopolitics at the Takshashila Institution,the Chairperson of the Delhi chapter of the Higher Education Forum and Consulting Editor to Education World, India’s premier Human Development Magazine.

Parul Gupta

Parul Gupta is a journalist, writer and research analyst. Currently Visiting Faculty at the Times School of Management and Media Studies  and an alumnus of Delhi School of Economics she has extensive experience of creating school textbooks with Oxford University Press, besides writing stories and articles for various newspapers, publications and blogs.

Shalini Dagar


Shalini Dagar is a business journalist with over 15 years of experience with organizations such as Business Today, CRISIL MarketWire (now NewsWire 18), Hindustan Times, The Financial Express and The Observer of Business and Politics. A Junior Science Talent scholar at the school level and a Chemistry graduate from St Stephens, she is an alumnus of INSEAD with a strong background in Science.
